Jeff Gardner, IFC President
"Associate yourself with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation." - George Washington, 1st President of the United States
Over a century ago, organizations founded upon distinctive values were established on college campuses with hopes to foster brotherhood and scholastic achievement. Today, 47 fraternities and over 3,400 men amass the largest Greek community in the country. The fraternal bonds created through these organizations provide college men with the essential tools to demonstrate these principles.
As one of four Greek councils at the University of Illinois, each of our IFC fraternities strives to exhibit the following values: Friendship, Leadership, Scholarship, Service, Social Advancement, and Diversity. It is my hope that you find our members to be true examples of these values and contributing members of our campus community.
I am honored to welcome you to our community. Thank you for taking time to explore the website of the Interfraternity Council and I encourage you to contact us with any questions you may have.
