    Below you will find the IGI standards for Service and Philanthropy. Deadlines for each section will be Posted soon.

     

    K.  Service (18 Points)
    1.  The chapter elects/appoints an officer responsible for Service/Philanthropy. Point Value: 2

     

    2.  The chapter’s Service Chair keeps a record of all man hours and money raised from all projects and submits them to IFC.  Service hours must equal two hours per chapter member. Point Value: 6

     

    3. The chapter sponsors at least one service event during the calendar year where at least 25% of members attend with three hours per member. Point Value:  5

     

    4. The chapter sponsors/co-sponsors one philanthropy project during the academic year. Point Value: 5 (2 points for preparing a plan for this service/philanthropy project and submitting it to VP of Service.  3 points for preparing a press release of some sort and sending to appropriate audiences and to VP of Service).


    Recommendations:
    1.  The chapter supports other Greek service efforts by participating in other fraternity’s philanthropy event.
